With the approval of the Board of Studies students can replace one or more courses by one or more courses in another Belgian university or a university abroad. In particular the university of Gand which has a partnership with the University of Liège. This is also offered for other license and M.A. programmes. At the end of the first year (candidature) students can take a license programme or work towards a Masters. Registering for the second year sanctions the choice of programme.
Students must choose at least 60h of courses in the Study Path chosen in the 1st year. This choice is made from the following courses, to which must be added the course of the Study Path not taken in the first year.
A full programme of 450 hours is achieved by choosing supplementary courses either from the second year (level) Study Path programme, or from the following list :
In using the possibilities offered by seminars and option courses students can change their Study Path in the second year (level) as long as the requirements for the new Study Path have been met in the first year (level) programme.
Students choose a minimum of 60h in courses in their Study Path programme of the Second Masters in Economic Sciences. Students can also choose an option course from another university department as long as it has not already been taken on another programme, and it must be approved by the Economic Sciences Board of Studies.
