| Course contents : | The course is taught in French. It consists of two parts. The first deals with European monetary integration (introduction to the European economic and monetary union, its organisation, its functioning, analysis of the single monetary policy, see the course on economic and monetary integration in Europe). The second focuses on recent economic developments in the world and in Belgium. | ||||||||

| Prerequisites : | A general course in political economy. | ||||||||

| Workshops : | Students will introduce an issue in economic policy in class and hand in an essay on the same issue. | ||||||||

| Organization : | Lectures by Prof. Quaden. Students are invited to actively participate. | ||||||||
