Course contents : This course offers an intensive and in-depth overview of the main principles underlying modern Corporate Finance: Financial Paradigm, Net Present Value, Opportunity Cost of Capital, Dividend-Discount Model, Growth Opportunities, Investment Rules, Capital Market Theory, The Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), Market Equilibrium, Relationship between Risk and Expected Return, The Arbitrage Pricing Theory, Risk, Return and Capital Budgeting, Market Efficiency, Financing Decisions, Capital Structure, Financial Leverage and Firm Value, Limits to Use of Debts, Dividend Policy, EVA Financial Management System.

Course objective : The successful companies of the future will be those that make managing and creating "stakeholders" values a central goal of their corporate and business strategies. The aim of this course is to provide the tools and the policies of the financial management of companies, such as wealth maximization and valuation, investment and financing decisions, strategies under uncertainty, optimal capital structure, and dividend policy.
Prerequisites : Comptabilité financière des entreprises, Analyse des Etats Financiers, Microéconomie et Statistique.
Organization : Méthodes d'enseignement et d'apprentissage :
A discussion of the theoretical underpinnings of "Corporate Finance" will be combined with practical applications in the form of cases and exercises.
