| This course aims to introduce students to the major key concepts of psychology of disability ( through the main international classifications.
The main areas of this discipline will be discussed:
A particular focus will be on the genetic intellectual disability and intersyndromic differences. |

Learning outcomes of the learning unit :

| At the end of the course, students will gain awareness of the main characteristic of the psychological development of people with physical or mental disabilities and will have a better understanding of the psychological issues of interventions and of the role of the professionals in the follow up of people with disabilities. | |||||||||||
