Access to one of the specialities, via the research option, depends on the person in charge of this speciality.

General Medicine

Specific classes in General Medicine will be given during the fourth examination level.



Pathological Anatomy and Cytology
  • Pathological Anatomy: 1 to 2 months
  • Internal Medicine and Radiology: 1 to 4 months
  • 1 month to be chosen by the student



Anaesthesia-Reanimation
  • 1 Anaesthesia-Reanimation internship: 2 months (1 anaesthesia-reanimation, 1 in intensive care)
  • Two 2-month internships with options according to the student's personal affinities (emergency - internal medicine - pneumology, paediatrics - neonatology)



Clinical Biology
  • 1 months internship with options in medical chemistry
  • 1 month's internship with options in transfusion; the duration of the internship may be extended according to the future orientation
  • 1 month's internship in clinical haematology, in biological haematology
  • Two 1-month internships of the student's choice



Surgery
  • General surgery : general surgery 3 months, orthopaedic surgery 1 month, plastic surgery 1 month, intensive care 1 month
  • Orthopaedic surgery : orthopaedic surgery 2 months, general surgery 2 months, plastic surgery 1 month, rheumatology 1 month, remedial gymnastics 1 month
