Course contents :  The courses devoted to the student of the fourth year of the Medical School (1st doctorat) are given during the semester 8 and include different topics devoted to paediatrics, adult nephrology and pharmacology. The part of anatomo pathological and radiological diseases devoted to the nephrology thema are also teached.

One example, the course of Nephrology:
This course includes 6 lessons of 90 minutes during which the main renal diseases will be teached.

Course objective :  To be able to diagnose the pathological problems teached at the semester 8 and to know their main characteristics, especially their causes, major clinical signs, principal biological and specific exams necessary to confirm their real existence, the other possible illnesses with the same signs and the main principles of treatment. Each chapter begins with the main objectives that must be known on the different pathologies.

Prerequisites :  The best learning of the different diseases teached during this 8th semester needs to perfectly know the normal human condition about all the systems concerned.

Workshops :  Presence a the clinical demonstrations. Several workshops will be organized especially for the anatomo-pathology, the medical imagery teachings and the pharmacology.

Written notes :  Each teacher has his personal technic for giving their courses, helped by a personal written or a reference book, a CDrom and/or a web site, well known by the students'association
