Learning unit contents
Originally created as part of the "Art & Sciences at the FPLSE" project, this course offers an introduction to promoting scientific research through outreach and visual communication.
Students will select a scientific article on a topic of their choice in the field of Educational Sciences and summarize it in the form of a scientific poster. A dual poster gallery (virtual and physical) will be organized, featuring an electronic voting system to select the best scientific poster. The "ValoRec 240," a "240-second research showcase festival," will also be held at the FPLSE to present the posters orally (a format inspired by "My Thesis in 180 Seconds"), open to the faculty community and members of the general public, with audience voting to select the best presentations, a podium ceremony, and an awards ceremony.
