Courses are taken at Maastricht University. As the number of places is limited, a selection process will be organised during the first week of the academic year. Selected students will be exempted from taking the History of Law and European Institutional Law course (Block 2).
The Faculty offers students enrolled in the Mobility option the opportunity to complete their final year of the bachelor's degree in law at Ghent University as part of an Erasmus Belgica agreement. As the number of places is limited, a selection process is organised at the beginning of the second year, during the first week of the academic year. Command of a first legal language other than French

Ghent programme The Faculty offers students enrolled in the Languages and Mobility option the opportunity to complete their final year of the Bachelor of Law at Ghent University, as part of an Erasmus Belgica agreement. As the number of places is limited, a selection process is organised at the beginning of Block 2, during the first week of the academic year. Selected students are required to take the course Legal Dutch: Terminology and Text Analysis (Q2) and Practice (Q1).

Optional additional courses (outside the programme)
This optional course is intended for students with only basic knowledge of Dutch, to help them prepare in advance for the final test scheduled in Block 3. This course is not included in the individual study programme (ISP), and the mark obtained in the test has no impact on the deliberation process: passing the test does not lead to the award of credits; failing it has no effect on the student¿s funding status.

Students are exempted from taking the European Substantive Law course and one law course taught in a foreign language. They are required to submit a written assignment in European Substantive Law. The courses followed at Maastricht University form part of the Mobility module within the Languages and Mobility option.

Students must take two courses in Maastricht: one compulsory course and a second elective course, provided it has not already been selected in block 2 from among the proposed courses.
