The faculty offers students from the Language and Mobility option the chance to do the last year of their bachelor of law at the University of Ghent within the framework of an Erasmus Belgica agreement. Since the number of places is limited, a selection is organised at the beginning of Block 2 during the first week of the academic year. The selected students will have to take the Legal terminology and text analysis course and the Practice of legal language course in Dutch.

Notice : the jury can grant an exception for a change in option during the bachelor's degree; in this case, the bachelor's degree in law is issued with no option.

This optional course targets students with a basic understanding of Dutch, to enable them to anticipate their preparation for the final test in Block 3. This course does not feature in the Student¿s Annual Programme and the grade obtained in the test has no impact on the deliberation: passing does not result in credits and failing has no impact upon the student¿s situation with regards to funding.
