This course aims to develop the four linguistic skills, namely:
- oral expression
- written expression
- aural comprehension
- reading comprehension
Linguistics I
This course focuses on the operation of major systems lingusitiques of modern Spanish. It therefore aims to identify some basic mechanisms and describe as completely as possible all the systems that make up Spanish.

This course aims to develop the four linguistic skills, namely:
- oral expression
- written expression
- aural comprehension
- reading comprehension
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- To be able to reproduce an orally coherent and syntactically correct text
- To be able of producing a narrative or argumentative text which is grammatically correct
Linguistics I
To recognize different systems of the Spanish language: phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax.
Explain the most relevant phenomena by providing explanatory theories.
Know and be able to use a series of linguistic resources available to students and researchers of the Spanish language.

- The method used is both active requiring students' constant participation, practising comprehension (reading, listening) and expression (written and oral).

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
First session:
50 % : written exam
50 % : Oral exam
Second session:
50 % : written exam
50 % : oral exam: the student will be asked questions about the contents of the novels.
Linguistics I
Written exam (January). 15% of the grade will come form exercices and class participation.
