Learning unit contents
This course, divided in two parts, prepares students to be teacher trainers (initial training) by closely coupling together construction of a professionnal identity and the developement of abilities with regards to professionnal didactics. The contents of this first part are devoted to the reflexive apprenticeship : - legal framework and practical teaching profession context; - concepts and referencies linked to the identity construction and the development of appropriate skills.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- To master contextual information as well as the main concepts ;
- to train onself to accompagny futur teachers in their professional practice and develop competencies to be a refexive companion;
- to conceptualize the primary macro-ability of a teacher trainer : the accompagnying.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
The teacher training YSTG0301-3 - called "reflexive companion" is a co-requisite.
The course PEDA1051-3 is a co-requisite.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
- Discussions about concepts and theoretical debates;
- settings in situation preparing for the accompaniments : use of the video tool in building ( techniques, spirit and precautions);
- discussed autoscopy (that means to observe oneself) of your own animation of a lesson gived to future teachers in a High Teaching School;
- personnalised discussion based on data that come from the training course ans the accompaniment analyse.

Face to face.
Recommended or required readings
A detailed teaching engagement is given (and explained) to the students at the fist class meeting.
A manual will be uploaded on E-campus in order to scaffold students' comprehension of the models and conceptual framework and to foster their mobilization during the associated internship.
The PPT linked to the courses will be uploaded before each class on the e-Campus platform.
Assessment methods and criteria
The mark is divided into several parts :
- Quality of the data gathered during the trianing course;
- quality of the analyses in the training report;
- quality of the exploitation of the theroethical framework of the course in the analyzes.
- The criterion of each part are specified in a document distibuted at the first class meeting.
Work placement(s)
This course is closely related to the training course YSTG0301-3 Reflexive companion.
The course and didactical exercices are closely linked to this first training course (the reflexive companion) :
- Anticiaption and preparation of the tasks to carry out on the ground (practical work);
- conceptualization and theorizing.
Organizational remarks
Further to the limited internship places and to our willingness to provide students with a rich and good quality support, we are obliged to limitate the maximal number of students fir this courses.
We won't be able to accept more than 40 students in this course didactique professionnelle et formation initiale des enseignants Partim 1. We kindly ask the students who would like to attend this course (and the associated internship) to send us a CV and a cover letter to the adress mentionned here below no later than September 20th 2019.
We commit to inform the students about the decision no later than September 25th, in order to give the students the opportunity to eventually reorientate his/her choice.
