Assessment subjects
Step 1: the work
The idea is that you are going to imagine a new module that could be added to HRIS. This module should computerize the management of something that is not already computerized, based on what you have learned from my eminent colleagues during your master in HRM, or based on your imagination.
You will describe what your module does (functional description) and how it works. You will also make a classification such as the one I used for each module of the course (the table, the functional description, the expected qualities, the additional qualities and the points of attention).
Your document could be seen as a sort of "sales brochure" designed to praise your brand new, absolutely indispensable and revolutionary module.
To carry out this work, you can choose the size of your group: 1, 2, 3 or 4 people.
You will have to send me your work in PDF format, by email, with the list (login, name, surname) of the members of your group.
We can set the deadline for submission to April 30.
Step 2: the exam
For the exam, very simple: you will try to "sell" me your module. We will have an appointment for a 15-minute "sales" presentation and then I will ask you a few questions for 5 to 10 minutes.
You will be able to use all the means of presentation you wish (PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezzi, ...).
I will play the role of a HR Director if you present yourself as a supplier, or of a CEO if you present yourself as a HR Director.
Assessment methods
The review will be conducted via videoconference through LifeSize or eCampus Collaborate. You will be able to share your screen if you are using a presentation (PowerPoint, Keynote, or other).
Your presentation will last 15 minutes and then I will ask you a few questions about your module for up to 10 minutes.
