Themes, methodological approaches or concepts treated in the project can vary as a function of the selected study sites, or as a function of educational or scientific opportunities or constraints.
The project aims to stimulate students to take initiatives and to reinforce their capacities to work in groups; moreover, it is developed to offer opportunities to the students to apply and integrate the theoretical concepts of their courses.
The central theme of this project is TO COHABIT.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The project is preceded by an introduction prepared by the principal supervisor.
Field excursions and visits can be a part of the educational approach.
Activities are group projects or individual projects; this is determined by the type of exercise.
Main activities consist of (spatial) data collection, data integration and data interpretation; different types of data are dealt with; the objective is to obtain an interpretation of the (meta)data.
Group and student autonomy is encouraged.
Activities, topics, themes or study sites may change as a function of scientific, practical or educational constraints or opportunities.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
Autonomous work (by groupe or individually) supervised during the weekly sessions. One session every week, an entire day.
Recommended or required readings
Useful lectures will be communicated during the sessions.
Assessment methods and criteria
Every exercise is graded by a competent jury (ad hoc composition). Evaluation criteria and evaluation procedures are communicated beforehand by the supervisor. The eventual organization of a second session will be communicated later.
