Weighting The weighting of the final rating is distributed as follows: Job of the Year: 50% Exam: 50% Any unsuccessful game will have to be repeated in the 2nd session in this case the final odds will be the lowest odds: eg: year points 20/50 (40%), exam 35/50 (70%) or 55/100 the final mark will be 8/20 because the skills were not acquired during the year. The pass mark is 10/20. Any work not submitted on time (unless covered by a medical certificate, or extenuating circumstances left to the discretion of the professor (death, accident, strike, etc.) will receive the rating of 0/10 and automatically implies passage to the 2nd session The final mark will be 8/20 maximum. Late work must imperatively be deposited in my locker on the day of return to the ISIA; it will be evaluated in brackets: ex (6) indicating the mark of the second session. Only work outside the deadline ¿ to 6 will be evaluated. Any work not submitted is worth 0/10 and automatically implies passage to the 2nd session because the skills could not be evaluated.

Evaluation criteria and guidelines The evaluation criteria are established according to three general criteria. They are subject to continuous evaluation. This means that the criteria or instructions given to the courses are maintained and form the prerequisites for future exercises. Criteria A: Criteria for presentation of the plan (in accordance with the documents received during the first course) 1) Grid of the areas concerned at a scale of 1/100th 2) Graphic scale 3) Respect for the imposed graphics 4) The correct name of a plant with the correct spelling = Number of plant + full name (Genus, species and/or variety). Ex: 4 Forsythia x intermedia 'Lynwood' 5) For herbaceous plants (annuals, perennials, ferns, grasses or ground covers) always indicate the number /M² ex: 24 Hosta sieboldiana 'Frances William' (4pl/m²) 6) For hedges, always indicate the maximum height of the desired hedge as well as the number of plants and the number per linear meter. Ex: 52 Fagus sylvatica (4 pl/m.l) (hedge height 1.8m) 6) Surround the areas of the same plantation with a bold line 7) Connect the zones with the name of the plant with a line; Take care to avoid overlapping lines and cobwebs The plan must be legible and the writing in the correct format. 8) Indicate on a reduced plan the situation of the massif in the development (cartridge) 9) Point North 10) The list of plants used in the massif will be summarized in a frame by category and in alphabetical order (according to Trees, shrubs, perennial grasses, hedges, etc. in order alphabetical) indicating only the number. For a larger layout, proceed in the same way for each massif and recreate a new general summary table taking up the whole of all the massifs. The summary or summaries will be arranged on the plan cannot in any case be a loose sheet 11) Trees located outside the beds as well as the beds must be planted according to the XY coordinates or by dimensions expressed in meters and angles in degrees 12) For flower turf areas, the name of the plants used without the mixture will be detailed. 13) For shrub beds or herbaceous plants, left free of planting and expressed as a %, it is compulsory to make a plan of the desired volumes, classified by zone and to sort the plants in a table according to the volume zones, indicating the % of plants used and the zone concerned The exact number of plants will be indicated. The following statement will be indicated: Planting carried out according to the proposed scheme. Plants will be randomly arranged and grouped together with a minimum number of (number to be determined) and a maximum of (number to be determined) by species. This criterion A represents 30% of the points. Criterion B: Criterion of knowledge of plants 1) Correct plant diameter 2) Shaft port 3) Plant density 4) Natural disposition. Avoid botanical garden type planting: Module A B C D E F 5) Compliance with the instructions requested and the pre-requisites of the previous exercises. 6) Plant composition and association This criterion B represents 50% of the points Criterion C: Feasibility criterion This criterion determines whether your plan is feasible and sustainable. 1) Use of invasive plants prohibited (the rating for the use of invasive plants is 0/10) 2) Over budget 3) Inadequacy from the pedological point of view eg: planting plants requiring calcareous soil at side of plants requiring acidic soil 4) Inadequacy from the point of view of various requirements. E.g. planting sun-loving plants under a tree. 5) Bad choice of plants: Inadequacy in relation to the site. ex: using bamboo in a French garden This criterion C represents 20% of the points
