Learning unit contents

This theoretical and practical course is designed to train future physical education teachers to manage learner diversity in their classes. This diversity will be addressed through two areas of competence:

  • Socio-motor skills and citizenship
  • Motor skills and expression

  • Chapter 5 - Differentiated pedagogy strategies: differentiating organisational and assessment structures
  • Chapter 6 - Developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia)
  • Chapter 7 - Learning difficulties in physical education
  • Chapter 8 - Putting differentiated pedagogy into practice

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

- Be able to assess the skills related to the fields of "sociomotor skills and citizenship" and "motor skills and expression" in order to define the heterogeneity of the class

- Be able to implement appropriate and adapted responses to students' heterogeneity

- Be able to draw on scientific models and validated tests to design one's own tests

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Personal experience as a supervisor, internships, and the didactic courses from the first two years of the bachelor's program will be drawn upon
