We live in a Digital World. No business can survive today without effective information management. Today, particularly in the era of artificial intelligence, a manager must be capable of collecting, structuring, analyzing, and processing the vast amounts of data accessible to companies to answer the numerous managerial questions they will face.
In particular, a Management Engineer, given their profile, will stand out by being able to use advanced tools and technologies based on more quantitative and scientific methods. Programming basics are essential for learning how to structure and manipulate data. These skills will be indispensable in their professional career and also serve as prerequisites for other courses in their curriculum.
Content
- Summary of basic programming concepts: data types, control statement, basic structures
- Algorithmic: modelisation of management problems
- Algorithmic: efficient methods to solve classical problems (search, sorting approaches, lists...
- Project: serious game
- Advanced structures, modularity, pointers and dynamic allocation (if enough time)

Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Basic programming knowledge. These prerequisites are taught in mandatory course INFO0076-1 "Informatique pour ingénieurs de gestion" (block 2 bachelor)
