Learning unit contents
The course consists of two parts: a cross-disciplinary part, organized into multidisciplinary groups (pedagogical aspect), and a part organized into disciplinary groups (didactic aspect).
For the pedagogical aspect, the course will cover:
- Triple concordance or curriculum alignment
- Summative/certificatve assessment (assessment biases, criteria grids, etc.)
- Formative assessment and assessment for learning
- The importance of the diagnostic nature of assessment
- The characteristics of effective feedback
- Student involvement in the assessment process
- Differentiated instruction, its challenges, methods, and forms
On the didactic side, the course will explore one or more topics related to assessment and differentiation. Details will be provided for each didactic course.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
For the pedagogical aspect:
- Knowledge and understanding of the various concepts covered in the course
- Ability to apply these concepts in relation to teaching practices
For the didactic aspect, the aim will be to develop certain themes related to assessment and differentiation in relation to the subject-matter being taught. Details will be provided for each didactic course.

For the educational part, the course will alternate between lectures, group work, and individual exercises to be completed during the sessions in particular.

Both for the pedagogical and the didactic parts, the course requires the active participation of students, who will be asked to complete various assignments and exercises in class.
The course will not be podcasted.

The assessment consists of two parts (more detailed information will be provided during the course):
- For the "pedagogical" part (75% of the grade): Written exam (multiple-choice questions + open-ended questions) + Active participation reflected in work to be completed during the session (see continuous assessment).
- For the didactic part (25% of the grade): Assignment to be handed in - Report OR Oral assessment
For the continuous assessment part, the grade cannot be improved in the second session.
