Learning unit contents

The disciplinary didactics course in psychology and education sciences aims to train future teachers for the human services sector in secondary education and adult education. The course will cover various aspects:

  • Occupational didactics as a frame of reference.
  • Professional competency frameworks for the human services sector.
  • The development of integration tasks as a central element of the professionalization program and a tool for planning a sequence of lessons.
  • The characteristics of the audience.
  • The development of professional identity and attitudes.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Overall, this course is intended to develop professional abilities of future teachers in secondary education in Psychology and Education Sciences.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

This disciplinary didactics course part 1 is a prerequisite for the disciplinary didactics course part 2.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course alternates resource contribution, settings in situation (micro-teaching) and reflective analysis.
