Teaching internships will be assessed on three criteria: (i) the assessment of the placement supervisor; (ii) the assessment of the academic/highschool supervisor; and (iii) the completion of an internship report.
Students will not be allowed to present their internship if their preparation has not been validated in advance during a meeting with the training assistant.
Due to the nature of the internship, which requires fieldwork during the academic year, it is not possible to organise a second assessment in August if a student is found to be unsatisfactory.
Any critical incident during an internship (breach of professional ethics, failure to inform the internship supervisor of preparations in good time, serious negligence, etc.) will result in a fail mark.
Attendance at workshops and active participation are essential factors for the successful completion of this teaching unit. Any absence must therefore be validly justified (medical certificate; failing this, justification will be accepted at the discretion of the supervisors). Failure to comply with this obligation will result in the student receiving a failing grade for the teaching unit.
Grades communicated via the eCampus grade book are provided for information purposes only, pending deliberation.
