Learning unit contents

The course will be devoted to the reading of one or more texts of ancient philosophy.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The aim of the course is to learn how to read an ancient philosophical text.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

No knowledge of Ancient Greek is required.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

After a general introduction, every session will have the form of a seminar, in which we will read collectively a portion of the text. Every participant in his turn will be asked to prepare one section.
