Learning unit contents
The two main objectives of the course will be to enable students to identify relevant scientific articles and assess their rigor using these quality criteria.
This will involve identifying relevant bibliographic databases for conducting research in education sciences, learning how to search them, and then selecting relevant articles using a series of relevance and quality criteria.
The course will therefore enable students to exercise their critical thinking skills with regard to scientific literature in education, but also to be able to identify reference articles to answer specific questions in education sciences. These are two essential skills for conducting research as part of the Master's degree in education sciences (for research in other courses and the thesis), but also beyond, to be able to independently conduct research to answer questions that arise throughout one's professional life.
