The course will address the following topics, among others:
- Norma y variación. Variedades del español. Prestigio y actitudes lingüísticas.
- Multilingüismo y lenguas en contacto. El español y el francés.
- El español como lengua de migración y como lengua de herencia.
- Pragmática del mundo hispanohablante.
- Lengua, cultura, pensamiento y emoción.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- To acquire and deepen an understanding of the different areas of Spanish linguistics.
- To develop an analytical and critical understanding of the phenomena studied.
- To apply the acquired knowledge to practical cases.
- To strengthen oral proficiency in Spanish equivalent to level C1 of the CEFR.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Level B2+ in Spanish.

Students cannot use AI during the oral exam.
