Learning unit contents
This course focuses on the use of technologies in speech and language therapy practice, such as telepractice, virtual reality and the use of digital tablets.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of this course, students will be able to use telepractice in speech and language therapy treatment. They will also be able to explain concrete applications for the use of virtual reality and digital tablets in speech and language therapy practice.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course will be made up of ex cathedra sessions and group work presentations.
The ex cathedra sessions will focus on the presentation of telepractice, virtual reality and the use of digital tablets. Group work will focus on the adaptation of a telepractice rehabilitation activity and the use of AI tools in the development of treatment materials..

The assessment will be based on an oral presentation and written report of the group's work.
Proficiency in French is one of the basic skills required for professional practice in speech therapy. As such, if the report contains more than 5 spelling mistakes (in usage and/or syntax), it will receive a failing grade (5/20) in the first session and must be resubmitted in the second session. If the report submitted in the second session contains more than five spelling mistakes, the student will have two points deducted from their course grade (out of 20).
