Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Teaching methodology for non-fiction text genres
The aim of the course is to enable the analysis of text genres-both their role within relevant social practices and their generic and linguistic features-as well as to foster an understanding of when and how they can be taught in foreign language courses at the secondary school level.
The course will also raise students' awareness of the generic features of various literary forms and will propose methodological approaches for their integration into foreign language teaching.
