The opportunities for Architectural Engineers are varied and many. In particular:

as a designer:

• large architecture studios, technical research offices, urban development firms, working freelance;
• within private and public works companies: lead on real estate projects, project coordinator, large site managers;
• in the public services, such as within an administration as the person in charge of project management: Buildings Control, Wallonia Housing Company, regional fire services, urban planning teams, etc.;
• in scientific research: research engineer at a university or scientific research centre (Belgian Building Research Institute [Centre Scientifique et Technique de la Construction], etc.);
• in management and finance: large industrial groups, real estate investment companies;
• in all the creative industries: design, set design, computer graphics, communications, etc.
