Profile and prerequisites

The syllabus of the Master's in Geographical Sciences, with its specialisms and didactic aims, prepares students to apply their skills in various professional contexts, as a function of the concentrations available to them: climatology, geomorphology, land and geomatic development, geomatics and geometrology, didactics.

The syllabus enables the student to broaden their practical and theoretical education to better understand the foundations, issues, developments and applications of the geographical sciences. It also provides students with an opportunity to develop specific research skills and to put what they've learnt into practice through the completion of a Final Dissertation. There is also a strong emphasis on practical work, notably in the field, with internships and foreign travel, during the two years of the Master's course.
