Learning unit contents
This course will give some tools in the observation and understanding of organisations, their functioning in all its complexity, their internal structures and their environment, as well as the interactions between actors and their power games (cooperation and tensions).
The first part will address the historic approach of organization studies.
The second part will look in more depth the strategic analysis of organizations by Crozier and Friedberg's work on local orders.
The third part of the course will delve into the approch of translation developped by Callon and Latour.
