Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Theory
1. To acquire the theoretical foundations to enable students to decode the main processes of interpersonal communication
2. To acquire the methodological foundations and techniques to enable students to carry out interviews for the purposes of collecting information
3. To learn basically how to use the methods and techniques covered in class
4. To learn how to put professional interviewing use into perspective in the framework of the occupational clinic, the demand analysis for workplace interventions and the selection process and skills management or development (coaching, supervision)
5. To develop a critical approach to the student's own interview practices

Theory
The practical work consists of participating in role-playing exercises and scenarios during which, through the use of feedback (from peers and instructors), students can evaluate and perfect their interviewing technique.
Mandatory presential for theorical and practical courses (e.g. penalty and/or additional work for repeated absences).

Additional information:
The student will prepare, carry out and film a real interview on a subject discussed in the course (i.e. occupational clinic, skills management or demand analysis for workplace interventions).
The exam consists of presentating the performance and the student's critical analysis of it.
Evaluation :
January:
- Written exam based on theory (both cohorts).
- Master in psychology: Oral exam based on a video of an interview: (20' for the video, 20' for the analysis and 20' for the professor feedback).
June:
- Master in sciences of education:
The practical part, specifically designed for adult education students, will aim to enable each of them to conduct an interview with a strong learning and development component.
This interview will be subject to constructive peer review and self-reflection by the protagonist.
Ideally, subject to logistical and technical feasibility, this interview will be filmed.
The evaluation of this practical part will consist of attendance at the practical sessions as well as reflective feedback from the student on their learning, discoveries, questioning and projections concerning the conduct of interviews.
To pass the whole course, the student will have to meet the requirements of both the theoretical and practical parts.
