Oral and written exam at the end of the year.
Vocabulary (Basiswoordenschat) tests durint first and second semester. Failed vocabulary tests need to be retaken in June (dedicated part of the written exam).
The written exam will be composed of grammar and (basic/specialized) vocabulary exercises, as well as reading, listening and writing exercises.
The oral exam will be about several articles from Dutch-language newspapers.
There are also mandatory oral presentations (the last one will be taken into account for the final mark).
The written and oral exams in June are two inseparable parts.

Organizational remarks
Attendance at the course is MANDATORY, whether it takes place face-to-face or by distance learning. A student who is absent for more than 30% of the sessions, with or without justification, is not eligible to sit the examination. This ineligibility applies not only to the first session examination but also to the second session. The student obtains a mark of 0/20.
We would like to insist on the importance of delivering the scheduled oral presentations in the first and second semester.
