Learning unit contents

Analysis of building performances, from impact on environment along their life cycle: choice of site and materials, works, management of energy, water, waste.

Approach of methods evaluating the envirnmental performance.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

To be able to understand when and how a building could improse its environmental performance, since the project until the demolition, through use and renovation phases.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Evaluation of some performance criteria for a described building.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

3 h theoretical courses.

A practical exercise - alternating with the theoretical course - is realised by each student in parallel.

Oral.
The exercises realised by the student are also evaluated and taken into account in the final marking.
In the case of distance learning under a red code for at least half of the periods scheduled in the schedule, the final score will be established by giving increased importance to practical work (rising to 50% of the overall score), vis-à-vis the exam (rising to 50% of the overall rating). The oral exam will then include a question on the practical work, followed by a question on the theoretical material (a second question may be asked to the student in the event of inadequacy in the first question).
