Learning unit contents

Aim of the course: use the tools of modern macroeconomics to provide an answer to key issues in international economics.
Four main topics investigated:

  • determinants of the current account
  • determinants of real exchange rates and terms of trade
  • international capital market integration
  • monetary policy, inflation and output
