Learning unit contents
Aim of the course: use the tools of modern macroeconomics to provide an answer to key issues
in international economics.
Four main topics investigated:
- determinants of the current account
- determinants of real exchange rates and terms of trade
- international capital market integration
- monetary policy, inflation and output
