Learning unit contents
The workshop aims to introduce students to the practice of directing (writing, location scouting, shooting, post-production) a short documentary film on a given theme. Each student will have to make an asynchronous short film.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The objective of this course is to enable students to acquire the basic knowledge and skills needed to write and direct a short documentary film. This initiation will allow them to question notions such as the point of view, the choice of framing, the importance of sound, the time and rhythm of editing, etc... which are essential to the creation of a film.
