Learning unit contents
We'll follow the most important moments of the history of European theatre, from the tragedy in ancient Athens to « postmodern » drama.
For each period, we'll see how contemporary directors reread the repertoire.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Objectives:
The student will develop a critical approach of contemporary theatre through history.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills

The course will take place at the second semester.
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
The distance course will mix written and video-conference lectures.
Final assessment will be based on written work.
