Learning outcomes of the learning unit

To understand classical statistical methods with applications on computer ; to present the principles of statistical designs and samplings for comparative scientific studies.
After completing the course the student is expected to conceive a sampling and an experimental design, to analyze data by the current statistical methods (analysis of variance with one ou two factors, crossed fixed model), to restore theoretical principles and to demonstrate the validity of associated methods.
