Learning unit contents
The following concepts will be covered during the course:
- Reminder concerning the development stages of a health promotion project
- Health promotion assessment
- Project evaluation tools and grid
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
General objectives
- Develop a Health Promotion project
- Design the evaluation of the project as a whole
Specific objectives
- Know the stages in the development of a health promotion project including, evaluation
- Be aware of the importance of social inequalities in health in the implementation of Health Promotion projects
- Know and choose the tools that can be applied to the different stages of the development of a health promotion project
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
- Theoretical notions will be brought to the students so as to orient the research necessary for the realization of their group work. They should be supplemented by personal research.
- Group work will be carried out and will focus on the design of a health promotion project and its evaluation.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
Depending on the evolution of the pandemic, the courses will be given either face-to-face
or remotely live on the dates and times set via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. They:
- Provide the theoretical bases necessary for the realization of the group work;
- Provide support for students in carrying out their group work.
Time slots during class hours will be granted for the realization of group work. They will be supplemented by work at home.
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
Depending on the evolution of the pandemic, the courses will be given either face-to-face or remotely live on the dates and times set via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra.

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
Work carried out by groups of 4 to 5 students and relating to the development of a health promotion project. The work will be assessed on the basis of an oral presentation and written work.
