Learning unit contents
Due to Covic pandemic, some students were not able to go abroad for their Erasmus programme. For these students, an alternative course programme has been created, at the University of Liège. Students must therefore choose 25 ECTS credits from this programme.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Give students the opportunity to put into practice the cultural and linguistic knowledge they have achieved throughout their first two years and allow them to improve the fluency of their chosen language.
The Erasmus program allows the student to gain a culturally and intellectually enriching experience, indispensable to their future professional practice.
On a personal level, this program will foster the student's autonomy and individual responsibility. Besides, the student will have to master the challenge of integration abroad.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
The student will discuss his/her Erasmus program with the responsible person of the Erasmus program.
The final learning agreement (of 25 ECTS credits) will have to be signed by the student, the sending and the receiving institution.
The learning agreement should be balanced and feature a course linked to the second language.
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
Recommended or required readings
Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
The receiving institution will communicate the results of all courses mentioned in the learning agreement. These local results will be converted to grades ranging from 0 to 20 (according to the conversion table in force).
The student who has not achieved 15 out of 25 ECTS credits, will have to start his/her Erasmus program again.
