Each dissertation will be subject to a public oral defence. This will start with a summary presentation (maximum of 7 minutes) during which the student should present the subject of his or her research, the methods used and the results obtained, while highlighting any specific contribution that the dissertation makes. Each committee member will make a commentary on the written work and will ask questions to which the student should reply.
