Learning unit contents
The course of intervention modalities in children's clinics proposes to study, to specify the tools of intervention of psychologists in the care of children and the accompaniment of parents and to draw up the current landscape of the various intervention clinics most often organized in a multidisciplinary way in the field of psychopathology.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
To attend this course, the « Assesment méthods of clinical child psychology" (PSY 5882) course has to be completed.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
To attend this course, the "Assessment methods in clinical child psychology" (PSYC 5882) course has to be completed.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The methodological approach is as follows: it will consist of 3 introductory courses that propose a synthesis of the elements of the psychologist's intervention framework (posture, tools and attitude), evidence-based references and the systemic family context with parental interventions. Each of the other courses proposes a presentation of a particular clinic by an external intervener, a psychologist. Each intervener is invited to detail his or her interventions, placing them in the child's clinical trajectory and psychopathological context. It is through the story of care that the professionals illustrate their analyses, their hypotheses, their methods of intervention and their evaluations. The children's trajectories then reveal the diversity of intervention modalities in relation to the evolution of care. (in maternity wards, outpatient care, complex situations, medico-psycho-social situations, chronic illness, pain and bereavement clinics, multicultural care, attachment clinics, ....).

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.
This oral exam is done in groups of two. Based on a clinical case study, the student has to present different ways to intervene regarding both the child and the parents.
