Learning unit contents

The tools for clinical practice (conceptualization and treatments strategies).
The course focuses on the processual approach

 

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

To have the theoretical knowledges about the emprically validate treatments.
To be able to conceptualize complexe clinical cases.
To be able to establish relationships between theory and practice.
To be able to work in team.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

PSYC1052-1

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The clinical conceptualization and interventions are teached through clinical vignettes
Oral presentations by the students.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

Presentations by experienced psychotherapists about the tools they ususally employ. Case studies, video recordings and role-playing games will be presented to students.
Student presentations (oral presentations prepared together with members of the cognitive-behavioural psychology clinic).

Assessment methods and criteria

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Any session :

- In-person

written exam ( open-ended questions ) AND oral exam

- Remote

written exam AND oral exam

- If evaluation in "hybrid"

preferred in-person
