Learning unit contents

The table of contents is as follows:
- An introduction to the psychology of health, in adults.
- An introduction to the psychology of health in children.
- Particpationn in the MOOC "Agir pour sa santé":
* Module 1: Learning to be kind to yourself
* Module 2: Understanding each other
* Module 3: Orienting towards change
* Module 4: Going step by step
* Module 5: Facilitating our changes through digital technology (Cf. Virtual Reality)
Health, Prediction, Change and Integrative Models.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The main objective is to familiarize the student with the clinical reasoning applied in psychology of health, and this from the most relevant models.

Reciprocation between oral courses and online courses through MOOC "Agir pour sa santé"

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

The Health Psychology course will be organized in the first semester, face-to-face

Organisational adjustments related to the current health context

The written exam will take place in person. The assessment includes * multiple choice (10 points) * open questions (10 points). The evaluation is defined in two stages: (1) The student must answer the MCQ and the "open questions." (2) Then, only the student, who will have obtained a minimum mark of 4/10 in the MCQ, will see his answers corrected to the open questions. If the exam were to switch remotely, the written exam modalities would be the same.

Ogden, J. (2018). Psychologie de la santé (3e édition). Bruxelles : De Boeck (ouvertures psychologiques).
 
MOOC registration "Acting for your health" is mandatory.

Assessment methods and criteria

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Any session :

- If evaluation in "hybrid"

Organizational remarks

The course will be organized during the first quadrimester of the 2020-2021 academic year.
 
The presence of the course in the audience will be in accordance with the "color" code decided by the University of Liège
