Learning unit contents
The course provides students with problem-based learning situations to introduce them to the neuropsychological approach. The course proposes case analyses in small groups under the supervision of clinical neuropsychologist to address the entire assessment process of an elderly, adult or child patient.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The course aims at introducing students to the neuropsychological evaluation process (identification of relevant elements of the application and missing information, formulation of diagnostic hypotheses, complementary examination planning, interpretation of results, proposal for a therapeutic project)
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Corequisites: "Méthodes d'évaluation et de diagnostic en neuropsychologie de l'adulte" (PSYC0096-1) and "Méthodes d'évaluation et de diagnostic en neuropsychologie de l'enfant" (PSYC5878-1).
This class is not open to Erasmus students.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course consisted of problem-based learning sessions conducted by students under the supervision of clinical neuropsychologists
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
Face-to-face or remote learning (collaborate platform). The attendance to the session is mandatory and gives access to the exam.
One absence to the sessions automatically leads to the failure of the course for the year (no catch-up possible, no 2nd session).
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
If the sanitary conditions did not allow the organization of face-to-face sessions, they will be organized remotely via the collaborate platform.
