The cours will be given according to the following plan:

  • Prenatal development and birth
  • The first two years of childhood: bio social development
  • The first two years of childhood: cognitive development

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

First, this course will review basic knowledge on the importance of genetics in human development and will teach prenatal and natal factors that influence child development. Then, the course will cover several theoretical concepts of developmental psychology on the bio social, cognitive and psychosocial level. Courses will include clinical examples and scientific references.
