Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The internship will take place in a research institute, on a site or in a museum, in Belgium or abroad. Students are encouraged to choose a different place of internship from their usual work environment in order to open the field of study.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

Three weeks minimum, the duration of the internship being agreed in agreement with the instructor. The internship can be fragmented into several periods throughout the academic year depending on the programming of the research activities.
Proposals for internships and supervision will be sent to the coordinator of the teaching unit by 15 December. The proposals will be considered by the master's jury in HAA, archaeometry orientation. In the absence of a response before 15 January, the proposals will be considered as accepted.
The internship may begin once the jury has approved the proposals made by the student and the internship agreement has been signed by all parties and addressed to the coordinator (by email). An internship agreement model is available from the coordinator.
