Learning unit contents
The pharmaceutical practice, in an open pharmacy, in a hospital or in the pharmaceutical industry, involves manifold disciplines, focussed on the drugs and also on the patients.
After a survey of the history of the pharmacy, the course will give the students an overview of the pharmaceutical sciences, and make them aware of the diversity of their future trade, following the "life" of a licensed drug, from the discovery of its active component to its use in the everyday therapy.
