Units courses prerequisite and corequisite
Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program
Learning unit contents
This seminar consists of reflective practice sessions aimed at analyzing observed classroom practices (in situ or filmed) as well as educational sequences. The latter will ideally have been tested within the framework of the professional practice of the participants or of the classes observed.
The participants are accompanied (mentoring) in order to develop a critical look at different classroom practices.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Participants will be able to:
- to develop professional knowledge in order to improve their own practice;
- to develop a reflective and critical posture on their teaching practices;
- to use the tools offered in FSL didactics courses in a migratory context;
- to analyze practices and suggest improvements / alternatives.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Corequis : MOOC « Moi, prof de FLE », Didactique du FLS en contexte migratoire, Séminaire de Questions pratiques de didactique du FLSco, Séminaire intégratif et travaux dirigés.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
As a first step, the participants will have to observe "FLA" classes (or if there is no class, accompany the teacher in charge of these lesson periods in the establishment), "FLE" classes or other non-linguistic disciplines (mathematics, physical education, arts, music, science, history, geography) or French as a mother tongue, in primary or secondary education.
A common observation grid will be developed and will serve as a basis for the analysis. These observations will then be the subject of a reflective analysis during face-to-face sessions with the other participants and the teachers.
Participants will also be able to film themselves giving lessons in order to make an observable corpus, if they wish.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
Face-to-face.
Organisational adjustments related to the current health context
If the health situation no longer allows the organization of face-to-face courses, the lessons will be provided online (videoconference) at the scheduled times. The sessions will be recorded and posted on MyULiège.
People who have difficulties in following the videoconference courses (no computer, no correct internet connection, no workspace at their home ...) are invited to let me know as soon as possible.
All course materials will be made available on eCampus.
