Learning unit contents

The course aims at acquiring the necessary techniques for consecutive interpreting

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The student will have to translate the message of a Dutch text read by a speaker. He will take notes of the discourse and translate it into French
 

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

A good knowledge of Dutch

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

learning by doing is the key message

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

Consecutive interpretation at the university if possible
Otherwise, remote consecutive interpretation might be envisaged

Organisational adjustments related to the current health context

Learning at distance based on a decision by the Walloon government. This has been checked with the sudent during the first course
