Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Learn how to make a history of art research, and how to write a scientific report, both precise and concise about a medieval topic; also, how to raise interest within a knowledgeable audience.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Having followed the course "Histoire de l'art et archéologie du Moyen Age: de l'époque paléo-chrétienne à l'époque romane" and "Histoire de l'art et archéologie du Moyen Age: l'époque gothique".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Write a 3-page scientific report and give an oral presentation of around twenty minutes on a work of art.
