Learning unit contents

The course will address the following themes:

  • Project design and change;
  • The meta-rules of organisational project management (structure, piloting, monitoring, verification, incorporating flexibility, memorisation, "mothering", etc);
  • The contextual factors of project management (management systems, operational process management, skills management, psychosocial dynamics);
  • Project management applied to psycho-social risks;
  • Basic methodologies;
  • The roles and position of participants;

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The course follows five basic objectives:

  • To understand the theoretical and methodological framework of organisational psycho-social project management;
  • To structure a project and intervention techniques;
  • To begin personal reflection on how emergencies are represented and the role of the adviser in psycho-social project management;
  • Share personal experiences of intervention; develop a critical approach to project management.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

Presential remains the proposed mode of teaching.
If health measures are required in the second semester 2020-2021, the courses will be organized in the same mode as in the second semester 2019-2020 (distance learning via a platform to be determined, video capsule and/or commented slide show).

Recommended or required readings

The course is based on a paper copy of the slides used during the course. Additional information may take the form of articles or chapters from books provided, depending upon student requirements.

Assessment methods and criteria

Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Assessment methods will be discussed with students in relation to their workload.
