Learning unit contents
Introduces the basic concepts of Integrated health management as well as the five themes on which the master is founded.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of the course, the student are able to
- discuss the concept of One health on basis of field examples in health risk management
- discuss the main concepts tackled in the unit (One Health, health, causality, universality/relativism of medical knowledge, relativity, and apply them to a critical analysis of integrated risk management and One Health practice
- discuss the complexity of the 5 central themes of the GIRISS master and the implication of the One Health concept for each of them

The teaching is fully organized on a distance mode. The teacher actively contacts every student for his.her inclusion in the course.

Personal work, establishing the conceptual framework of the student's filedwork and master thesis.
