Concretely the course is divided in two parts.
The first one concerns sociological theory on aging and the second can cover various topics among wich : demographic trends, types of retirement, representations of aging, dependence and odest age, ...
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
A the end of the course, the student will be abble to develope a reflexion on elderly people an the reprensentations of old age.

The theoretical cours will use the following methods : presentations ex cathedra, debates.
The second part will introduced by outside contributors

Two hours cours each week at the second semester

The students are evaluated ont their comprehension of the courses et to bring a critical glance on representations on elderly people with a document (5 pages)
